About KNACKSAT-2
KNACKSAT-2 is a 3U CubeSat of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) in Thailand, the follow-on to KNACKSAT, the first satellite built entirely in Thailand. It was released into orbit from the Japanese Kibo module of the International Space Station on 3 February 2026, so its orbit started close to that of the ISS; CelesTrak gave about 350 km in October 2026.
The satellite carries several payloads for Thai organisations, including a camera, an IoT store-and-forward experiment and an ultraviolet sensor, which use non-amateur frequencies. Its amateur payload, developed with the Radio Amateur Society of Thailand, is an APRS digipeater on 145.825 MHz for both uplink and downlink.
Note that the digipeater uses 9600 baud FSK, not the 1200 baud AFSK used by the ISS and most APRS satellites on the same frequency, so you need a 9600 baud capable radio and TNC or software modem to use it.
